Important notice
please read
Due to weather, traffic or other unforeseen circumstances, the order of some attractions may be adjusted according to visitor volume or road conditions, without reducing the number of attractions or shortening sightseeing time.
Any extra costs caused by force majeure, including natural disasters, that prevent a visit are borne by the guest, and fees already incurred are not refunded.
If the hotels above are not available at your requested time, they will be replaced by similar ones.
Guests should plan their free time sensibly to avoid delays. Before choosing any entertainment or extra activities at scenic spots, understand the details and precautions, choose according to your physical condition and follow the safety instructions.
Xinjiang runs on a different daily rhythm from other cities in China; for example lunch is usually around 2:00 PM and activities are scheduled between about 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
Xinjiang food is mainly spicy and flavourful, with beef and mutton, and may not suit every taste; avoid eating it together with raw or cold foods, and avoid eating fruit with hot tea. Day and night temperatures differ greatly.
Please do not walk barefoot in the bathroom or shower; use non-slip mats and non-slip, waterproof slippers, and place the shower curtain inside the bathtub. After checking in, check the room facilities, hot and cold water and drainage, and tell the guide or driver at once if anything is wrong.
Xinjiang has beautiful scenery, but local hotels and services are limited, so please do not expect too much; getting a good night's sleep is the most important.
The itinerary, flight times and hotels are subject to final confirmation. No refund is given if guests cancel itinerary or accommodation arrangements during the trip, and tips must be paid in full for the number of days of the trip.
The guide may sell souvenirs on the bus, such as Xinjiang dried fruits, dairy products and essential oils.
Kanas Day 4: from November to December, the Colorful Beach is replaced by the Baihaba Scenic Area (Big Stone Viewing Platform, Lonely Tree, Old Village, China-Kazakhstan Grand Canyon).
Meals: breakfast plus 16 meals, with one special upgrade to whole roasted lamb in Xinjiang. Two complimentary bottles of water per person per day.
Collected with the tour fee: China group visa USD 40, Philippine travel tax USD 30, and tips for driver and guide USD 8 per day x 9 days = USD 72, all per person.
Philippine passport holders need a China visa; the China group visa is USD 40 per person.
Child rates: child with bed ages 2–12 pays the adult rate; child without bed ages 2–12 has a lower rate.
Xinjiang food is mostly spicy and rich in beef and mutton; there are large day-night temperature differences. Hotel facilities in remote areas are simpler than in big cities.
The driver may change the order of attractions because of weather, traffic or crowds, without reducing the number of attractions.
No refund for services cancelled or skipped during the trip; tips are charged for the full number of days. Hotels may be replaced by similar ones, and the itinerary and flights are subject to final confirmation.

Know before you go
China tips
Practical tips for China, from entry rules to what to eat. General guidance for a Philippine traveller — rules and prices change, so confirm the latest before you fly. Need a hand with the visa or tickets? Our team is glad to help.
Entry requirements
Tourist visa required
Philippine passport holders need a Chinese tourist (L) visa arranged before travel — our ticketing desk can walk you through the requirements. Passport valid 6+ months with blank pages. No vaccinations are required.
Money
Renminbi (¥); go cashless
China runs on mobile pay — set up Alipay or WeChat Pay and link a Visa/Mastercard before you fly; they now work for tourists almost everywhere. Carry some cash as backup. Tipping is not customary. Budget roughly ₱2,000–3,500 a day for meals and extras.
Weather & what to pack
Four seasons; check your month
Shanghai has hot, humid summers and cold winters; Yunnan (Kunming, Lijiang) is mild by day but cool at night and sits at altitude. Layers, a warm jacket, comfortable shoes, sunblock and a rain layer cover most dates.
Getting around
Metro plus Didi
City metros are fast, cheap and signed in English; use the Didi app (with in-app English) for taxis. Your package covers airport transfers and a private coach on tour days, and high-speed trains link the cities.
Language
Mandarin; little English
English is limited outside hotels, so keep translations handy. Useful words: Nǐ hǎo (hello), Xièxie (thank you), Duōshǎo qián? (how much?). Your guide translates throughout the tour.
Culture & etiquette
Mind the customs
Give and receive items with both hands, never stand chopsticks upright in rice, and queue patiently. Photography can be restricted at temples and official sites — follow the signs and your guide.
Safety & health
Very safe; carry your passport
China is very safe with low street crime; carry your passport as ID. Drink bottled or boiled water. Emergencies: police 110, ambulance 120. Keep your hotel’s name in Chinese to show taxi drivers.
Connectivity
VPN + roaming, not a local SIM
Google, Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram are blocked in China — install a trusted VPN before you arrive. The easiest data is an international roaming SIM/eSIM that routes outside the firewall. WeChat keeps you in touch and pays.
Must-see sights & food
The Bund & Lijiang old town
See Shanghai’s Bund skyline and Yu Garden, or Yunnan’s Stone Forest, Lijiang old town and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Try xiaolongbao soup dumplings, hotpot, roast duck and Yunnan rice noodles.
Four days in Shanghai with a full day at Shanghai Disneyland (1-day pass included), Xinshi Ancient Town, the Bund, Nanjing Road and city shopping stops, on a China Eastern flight from Cebu.
A relaxed Shanghai city break on Cebu Pacific: the Bund, Nanjing Road, Chenghuang Temple, Wukang Road and Florentia Town, with a free day for optional Disneyland.
